Anise Seed Essential Oil – Background
Anise seed oil comes in clear color and thin consistency. It has Anethol as the main component, which makes up about 90%. Other major constituents include limonene, estragole, and anisyl alcohol.
It blends well with spicy oils like black pepper, ginger, and thyme. You can also use it with bay, lavender, orange, tuberose, pine, bergamot, mimosa, rose, tangerine, lilac, and grapefruit.

It Carries Sedative Properties
Anise seed essential oil provides a relaxing effect without the negative side effects that come with synthetic drugs that cause calmness. However, it needs to be used in small dilutions to have the desired soothing effect.
