If you’re pregnant or nursing, only use yuzu essential oil under the strict supervision of a qualified aromatherapist or doctor. Also, this essential oil should not be used in children below two years. Nonetheless, it is always important to consult a doctor before using this essential oil on children. Yuzu essential oil is not safe to use on pets. This is because it contains the compound D-limonene that has insecticidal properties. When ingested, it may cause toxicity, poisoning, or liver damage.
