To remove insurance, write to us in "Order Notes" field on Checkout page and refund will be issued manually; we are not responsible for lost or damaged package if insurance is removed, it does happen on few occassions.
We do not offer free shipping on our site because it isn’t cost effective to our consumers. In free shipping model the price includes shipping cost for each item so the customers end up paying more most times when buying multiple items, separating shipping allows customers to bundle actual shipping cost as offered by USPS/FedEx.
Our cost model provides transparency in the actual cost of the product, most sellers bundle it with shipping with significant markups.
Our shipping calculator at times will not function properly, resulting in incorrect shipping cost. Please go ahead and select desired shipping service, we will issue refund on overage once we generate the shipping label. We will only charge you for exact shipping cost incurred.
FedEx offers free insurance for orders up to $100.
USPS includes free insurance coverage up to $50 when shipped via Priority service but not for other service types.
Regrettably our current checkout page does not provide ability to opt-out of shipping insurance, if you prefer your order to be shipped without insurance then please complete the check-out process with insurance cost included and include a note to us to ship without insurance. We will issue a manual refund via your chosen payment method. Customers will assume responsibility of lost packages if insurance is waived.
